What is a great city to visit in the MidWest that has cool sites too see?|159903

Don_t say Chicago, Im from Chicago. I wanna go somewhere else in the MidWest thats not far away. Just for a 2-3 day trip to see stuff and look around. Just wanna break the rountine of my life.

  • I vote for Louisville, KY as the top choice. It has the Slugger factory tour you can take, see Churchill Downs and go to the museum. Try a mint julep. It is right along the river and has a nice downtown area.

St. Louis is a good option too to go up the arch, go on the Budweiser tour (free and with samples), riverboat along the Mississippi or go to a riverboat casino.

Lexington, Ky is another option. Just north in Georgetown, KY is a Toyota factory you can take a tour of. In Lexington there is the Kentucky Horse Park if you are into animals. Lots of bourbon distilleries in the area you can tour.

Cincinnatti, OH is another option. It has quite a lively downtown on the Ohio/KY border with a lot of nightlife. If you go you must check out Jungle Jims.

If you love to shop or go to a theme park check out the Mall of America in St. Paul, MN. There is a big indoor theme park there called Nickelodeon Universe.

We have the same thing that we just want to get away so we go on these little trips to all a different place once in a while.

  • Milwaukee and Madison, WI are both cool cities.
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN are cool cities.
St. Louis is a cool city.

If you go to St. Paul, take the gangster tour. It_s fun and very cool.

If you go to St. Louis, visit the Gateway Arch observation deck. The ride up the top is cool with some very unique elevators.

Visit the breweries in Milwaukee because they are fun.

  • Indianapolis is very cool
