What is the best region to attend college?|141682

i stay in tennessee and ill graduate high school in 2 more years. Im thinking about attending an out of state college. I would like to know any information about the different regions...westcoast, midwest, mid-atlantic(eastcoast), south, southwest. Any and all information will be helpful and appreciated. Thanks :)

  • the pacifc northwest, you know, like washington or oregon. There is no humidity like tennessee and on the west side of the states it rain quite a bit and has lovely, lush forests, in cluding a rainforest. There are big cities like Seattle-Tacoma and Portland. But if you like a smaller feel, though not clausterphobic, the WSU (Washington State University) Tri-Cities. It is in south eastern washington and there is roughly a population of 200,000 people, compared to 4.5 million. We have a lot of new job openings, mainly in science and enginnering. We have Battelle, a scientist_s lab, Hanford, lots of enginneers work there. Hanford is also where they mad the atomic bomb that they dropped in WWII. We have a good cost of living, although not the cheapeast. We have a lot of farmers because we are the 3rd largest producer of wine in the USA. We have an airport the makes daily connections to Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, and Denver. We have 3 large rivers that are fun to go boating or swimming in in the summer months. Our crime rate is realtively low, too. The Pacific Northwest is a great place to live!
