You should have asked that question several months ago unless money is no object. You_re going to have a very difficult time finding inexpensive airline seats and hotels now, especially to popular destinations. The week between Christmas and New Year_s is one of the most heavily traveled weeks of the year and the discounts sell out far in advance.

I formerly worked in the travel industry and I had to break the bad new to last minute travelers every year.
