What should I do in New York for one day ?|108690

I_m going to America to visit family with my parents and younger sister(14) and myself (16). We are staying in MA but are planning to travel to New York for one day so i was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions of what to do on our one day trip.

Take a Big Apple bus tour. Some of them offer hop on/hop off service so you can stop and see something you like. I took one when I lived in NYC and learned so much about the city!

Maeve, may I recommend a few.

-Empire State Building
-Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island
-Times Square (no trip is complete without a visit to the_Crossroads of the World_)
-United Nations
-Central Park
-Brooklyn Bridge (you can walk across it too)
-Museums

How does the size of Miami compare to Houston?|108209

I am from Houston and want to move to Miami in a year. Just out of curiosity, Comparing the size of the two cities, How much bigger is Houston than Miami? Not population, but size.

The actual city limits:
Miami is approx 55 mi2 whereas Houston is 601 mi2
Although that doesn_t sound right... I_m just going by wikipedia!

DEPENDING WHAT KIND OF TIME YOU WANT TO HAVE, SKYY IS ALOT MORE CLASSY, CITYWALK IS GOOD IF YOU WANT TO PARTY. MY PERSONAL CHOICE IS CITYWALK, WE GO THERE ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND. IT IS FREE FOR LADIES UNTIL 10, SKYY IS $8 FOR EVERYONE, I BELIEVE.

What is a Bricktown?? Been to Tulsa before...... worst city ever! Oklahoma in all is a pretty boring state.
