What would you guestimate the percentage of middle class people in san francisco usually is? details below?|113725

i have heard san fran is pretty much made up of rich and poor people. Not much in between. However, i have heard middle class people from the suburbs usually leave their towns/cities to come to san fran to party, go to events, whatever. Since its supposed to be so diverse, will i fit in well as a middle class citizen there?

_Rich_ is the middle class in San Francisco. What I mean by that is the average middle class person in San Francisco may earn much more than the average middle class person in another part of the country and appear _rich_ but they live a similar lifestyle. Aside from that, most San Franciscans aren_t very classist so you_ll fit in as far as income. Many San Franciscans are political/social snobs so depending on your personal views you may or may not fit in.

Most of the people I know and work with might be considered middle class. Definitely not rich (by SF standards), but not living in poverty.

It would be hard to determine, since the SF statistics are skewed by (a) it being an expensive city to live in and (b) the high wages paid.

That being said, nobody really cares what your class is.

we did this trip last week, the shuttle was fine but the cost and hassle we decided when we returned to JFK later in our trip to use a taxi. Set price JFK to manhattan in Yellow cab is $45.00 plus tolls $4.97. The train journey was shuttle to Jamica station, change to Penn Station the sub way to times square in our case which cost three of us $47.00 with a few dollars left on the subway tickets and took 2 hrs.and very stress ful Taxis can take 2 hours depending on time of day apparently but ours took 40min both times

My friends an I are planning on visiting Colorado soon and are hoping to stop by Estes Park. The friend who is driving is very nervous about driving in the moutains, near cliffs without railing, loose rocks etc. I was wondering if the drive to Estes Park have these conditions, and if so, are these conditions for the majority of the drive up there? Not at all. It is an easy, pleasant drive. Estes park is smack dab next to Rocky Mountain National Park...you should really enter the park and go to the visitors center. There is plenty to do in the park that does not involve driving on mountainous roads...tho the trip up to the top of Trail Ridge Road is absolutely gorgeous...and from the continental divide on top, you feel you can see the whole world.

Hey there I traveled to estes park with the parents back in May of 08..I was 18 at the time and drived the way to estes park..no worries with the drive as long as you use good judgement :)

How long does it take to tour Kennedy Space Center?|115093

Going to Orlando next month for 4 night cruise and 4 days at WDW. We are trying to find a way to fit in KSC into our schedule, but we really don_t have a free day. Can we do it in 2-3 hours? What would you recommend? Is it worth the price of admission?

You really would need at least half a day to see everything. Space travel isn_t one of my top interests, but KSC is actually a really cool place. In 2-3 hours you could probably see most of the exhibits in the buildings, as well as the rocket garden. However, there is an IMAX there, a space shuttle launch simulator and a two-hour bus tour that takes you where civilians usually aren_t allowed to go to see things like launch sites and where they make parts for the space station, etc.

It_s very much worth the price of admission. If you are there in the later part of the afternoon, they usually have a short lecture in one of the buildings. An American Astronaut is there to talk about what it_s like to do a shuttle mission. This alone is worth the effort. They have a shuttle simulator that_s awesome. KSC is probably one of the best kept secrets in Florida.

I_ve never been there, but my husband went when he was in Florida on a business trip. He says that there is enough there to see to take up a whole day or even more. He loved it!

I am interested in those outside the Washington DC area as we will be seeing Charlottesville and vicinity as well as Richmond, Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Richmond International will probably be your best bet. It_s about an hour away from Charlottesville and Williamsburg and about two from Virginia Beach.
