My hubby and I are new to parenthood. We adopted out little girl this summer and are looking for things to do in Southeast MI over the winter. Any ideas?
Go to the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth and stay the night. I take my kids there every winter and we all have a blast. They have 5 indoor pools including 2 kiddie pools (one is only a foot deep). They also have an indoor mini golf, a huge game room with prizes, restaurant and gift shops. The rooms are nice too. If it_s not too cold, they do have nice little outdoor shops in walking distance. The price is well worth the fun you_ll have. Trust me!!campus martcius(sp?) take her ice skating and to the winter blast...im taking my neice to that (if its not toooo cold)..she_ll have SOOOO much fun!!Play in the snow, bake cookies, color with crayons. For events, go to clickondetroit.com.Nothing.
Isnt Fun by itself?Maybe sledding, building snowmen, snow angels.Yippy usually has some caroling going on in the downtown area. Social exposure is great for kids.Enjoy the cold and the snow.A 1 yr. old is really too young to enjoy anything outdoors during a Michigan winter. Play indoors as you would anywhere with the little one.
