I want to start a new life somewhere with a lower cost of living and slow paced lifestyle compared to LA County, CA. Please help.

Without a doubt Norman. The nicest and cleanest city in Oklahoma, is centrally located 25 minutes from OKC and 3 hours from Dallas. Plus The University of Oklahoma is there, so you will find a little more diversity than in other cities.

I lived in the Norman area for 18 years. It_s not the greatest, but pretty good as far as Oklahoma goes. Not a fan of the Tulsa area, and I highly advise NOT living in Stillwater. It_s way to hard to find a job there.
