What casino gives the best comps?
I_m rapidly closing in on 2 years worth of free(comp) room nights.
Comps - Show _ Event tickets, restaurant _ buffet, show up cash, air(once), Limo, suite upgrades, _I_m sure there have been more but thats all I can think of.
What you need to know
What to play
How to play
Where to play
How to manage your bankroll
The only time I pay for a room is when it_s _convenient_ _ inexpensive. _Sometimes I consider it to be to my advantage to pay for a room rather than take a comp_ By inexpensive, I_m talking somewhere in the $15-$30 per night range, at a nice hotel. The _why_ would take a while to explain!
If you_re going to play the comp game, you need to find a casino that has the game(s) you like to play, that will treat you well at your level of play.
Books on the subject
_Comp City_ - Max Rubin
_The Frugal Gambler_ - Jean Scott
I would need to know a few things to be able to recommend a casino for you.
What do you play(or want to try)? _and at what denomination?
What_s your _daily average_?
What_s your daily _bankroll_?
What hotel/amenities are most important to you?
When it comes to LV my favorite topics are gambling _ comps, yea, shocker, I know lol . If you have any Q_s feel free to e-mail me through YA, I will be glad to help you.

Stay away from Harrah_s properties for comps. They have a very strict tier system.
Mirage gives away buffets to anyone who asks for them. Ditto for the Golden Nugget.
The BEST comp book I ever received was several years ago in Circus Circus, which they termed _Outback Adventure._ You actually had to tour the entire place, going in between towers, and go to different counters to collect your goodies and ended up with a bunch of nifty little things. One was a travel bag (which we went to first so we_d have something to carry the rest of the stuff in). There was also a beer mug, a stuffed animal, a t-shirt, a pull on a slot machine, a restaurant coupon, and even some free casino chips, plus a few other things I don_t remember. I think it amounted to a couple hundred dollars worth of stuff once you used it all.
Now, there ARE higher value comps given out, but these are reserved for people who bet into the hundreds and thousands of dollars over short periods of time. You would need to bet at least several hundred or more to earn a free meal, and a few thousand to earn a free night in a room. The really high rollers can earn stuff like free limo service, plane rides, tickets, ski packages, etc.
But they also count _action_ bets, meaning anything you win that you put back into the games also counts as paying into the card, so it doesn_t actually mean you have to LOSE that amount. If you double your bankroll and then put the original amount back into the games, it_s the same as if you_d just spent and lost the same amount, as far as earning comp points go.
