Where is the best place for romantic camping close to New York city?|106541

I am 26 years old ,I live in Brooklyn NY and I have 2 days vacation, so I want to take my wife to a romantic beautiful place so we can camp , drink wine and enjoy the charming nature, any Idea?

You could take a trip down to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (in TN) where alcohol is permitted in campgrounds provided that the person in possession is at least 21 years old.

In the middles of summer your choices will be a bit more limited.

Fire Island is also an excellent idea. If you are willing to really _rough it_, there is a wilderness on Fire Island that will likely have more availability but you_d have to hike in and carry absolutely everything with you.

It will probably be crowded on Long Island. Actually, it will probably be crowded in any campground this time of year.
