I go on college break in december and I need to find housing near the university of washington campus. How can I find housing for a month long period? Do people rent rooms out for a month?

Check out vacation rentals in Seattle - this isn_t really their tourist season, so they_ll probably be ecstatic to get someone in. You can either google up _Seattle Vacation Homes_ or google up the Seattle Times and check their classified section. Or you could contact the University of Washington housing office - perhaps a student who is going home for the holidays will sublet his/her room.

I would look into an extended stay hotel. They have suites that you can have for longer periods of time. It would probably be perfect for a month stay.
