And back. It_s about an hour drive. I have no car and everyone I know is too busy to take me there.

yes there is route you can take first take the foothill sliver streak
bus to El Monte station (get a transfer)
then board a metro 577 express bus to Long beach then take
the 577 bus to its last stop at the Long beach transit mall
then board a LADOT 147 bus to San Perdo
you can get ez pass which will be good on all buses for about $80.00
(although you will still have pay a zone fare on the silver street and the 577)
