Can anyone recommend the best restaurants at Disney World?|187865

I need suggestions for breakfast and dinner at each park. I also would like to know if you have any favorite downtown Disney restaurants. If there are really good resort restaurants list them too.

This is for a 9 yr old girl and mom.

Any of the restaurants in Epcot_s World Showcase are amazing! It all depends on what kind of cuisine you like!
The Liberty Tree Tavern is also really good in Magiv Kingdom (amazing pot roast!)
Downtown disney theres the Rainforest Cafe, which is a ton of fun for all ages!
Chef Mickey is pretty cool for character breakfast, it has all the traditional characters come around (mickey, minnie, goofy, pluto etc)
And if you want the best ice cream in the world theres a vendor outside of the France pavillion in Epcot. AMAZING ice cream!!!

There_s too many great places to dine at the resorts to list here, but the character brunch at Chef Mickey_s (contemporary) and the family skillet meal at the Whispering Canyon (WIlderness Lodge) are particularly good for a family like yours!!

At Downtown Disney, the kid-pleasers is the Rainforest Cafe

On my last nine-day trip the Tutto Italia Ristorante, in the Italy section of Epcot, was my absolute favorite place to eat. They are a bit pricey if paying, but if on the dining plan it just counts as one dinner, not two like the character buffet in the Magic Kingdom with less appetizing food at their buffet.

The food was absolutely stunning, the dessert succulent, the service better than I expect (even from Disney), and the atmosphere, while crowded, was fantastic. Well worth the extra-high tip we gave our server (we were on the dining plan).

Oh, and the one by the race cars mentioned above (at Magic Kingdom)? I didn_t like it at all. Even though they shared a kitchen, they have three order sections dedicated to three different menus respectively, and would not let me get fries at the sandwich side even though they were plentiful 20 feet away at the burger side (again, all connected...they couldn_t walk over and grab some fries, because _the computer wouldn_t let them_).

They were also turning people away when I was there because they were _too crowded_ even though there were open tables and lines weren_t that long (I had to talk my way in to rejoin my family when I went out to get other food instead of ordering there, and that was a chore). I will never eat at that restaurant again. And if I see the manager I spoke with at a different restaurant (Disney likes to move management around), I will not eat there either. He was no help at all...just defensive and in over his head.

Animal Kingdom: Flametree BBQ (CS), Tusker House (TS)

In the resorts some great table service restaurants are: California Grill, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Boma, and many others! Hope you have a great trip!

Animal Kingdom- Yak and Yeti (fantastic Pan-Asian food)

Epcot: Garden Grill, Japan, Mexico

Hollywood Studios: Mama Melrose, Sci Fi Drive in Theater,

These are all sit down, most of the food carts are ok, nothing exciting. For breakfast we usually keep supplies in the room or eat at the resort

There is one in fantasy land right near the race cars. It serves several different things but their burgers and hot dogs are big and they have a whole condiment bar. One of the best values in the park. Epcot is pricier...you would be better to pick which country you want food from....Germany has a buffet. There is a House of Blues at Downtown Disney that is good.

I like the list already compiled... but wanted to add in that Ohana at the Poly is excellent - but only if you like meat intensive meals.

Stay away from the Wave at the Contemporary. It is overpriced for the taste and quantity of food you receive. I_ve gone there twice and thought it was terrible both times.
