Where in western Michigan is a good place to camp?|128562

I am in the Kalamazoo area and am looking for somewhere to camp in a tent that_s under a mile away. I don_t like campgrounds where the people next to you are really close. Does anyone know of anywhere?

Sounds like you are looking to camp in your or a friends back yard. Part of camping is getting to know other people. I can understand you don_t want the next campers right on top of you, that will be difficult in lower Michigan unless you find a mom and pop campground.
