How do I volunteer in New Orleans for the Katrina Victims?|183093

I wish to go to Louisiana this spring break to help Katrina victims, I am 17 years old, a junior in high school. I know that they have groups that they send there on volunteer work, and I would like to be included. So if anyone knows how I can go about that, I would greatly appreciate it.

From convention visitors to leisure travelers, church groups to high school and college students, people have shown incredible generosity in giving of their time and talent, and a great deal of elbow grease, helping the city of New Orleans in its recovery and restoration.

I could be wrong, but, since my friend Sarah was allowed back to her home in July two years ago, I_m pretty sure New Orleans is pretty well cleaned up.

Katrina happened over 2 years ago! Are there STILL groups going there? Maybe for Habitat for Humanity, or some group building homes.
