What time does the subway rush hour start?|154089

Going to New York for a holiday and was wondering if you could tell me when the rush hour starts on the subway in the morning (weekdays)?

My advice, try not to take the subway between the hours of 7am and 9:30am, that when the system is very crowded. Anytime after 9:30am will do.

It depends on what line you_re on and what part of town you_re in, but the rush generally starts between 7 and 8 and ends around 10am.

Pretty much the same time as car rush hour. From 6-9 AM and 4-7 PM. It usually is not that bad, however. And be weary of the subway on late nights and weekends as their service is limited.

Its 6:30 - 9:30AM.
