I have an orlando florida vacation package I have to sell. I cannot travel due to health reasons this year and need to sell it quickly. Any ideas where to advertise? Free places please.

First I would verify that you are not able to cancel the vacation first without any fees or problems like that. Most place in the Orlando area are very good if do need to cancel, most not charging any fees, but it depends on when your vacation was.

If you aren_t able to cancel you need to confirm that you are able to transfer the vacation. Most places require the lead guest to remain the same or the reservation needs to be cancelled and redone. If this is the case there may be fees involved.

Finally, you could check with some message boards, specifically Disney related boards where people may be looking to take a vacation to the Orlando area. Also Cragislist is a good idea. Just be very careful because this can be risky for both sides involved. Be sure to have as much proof of the vacation that you can, a lot of people will question whether or not this is real or just a scam. The more proof you can offer the better. On your end you need to be very careful that you get all of your payment before changing anything to the new party so that someone doesn_t get your vacation and you get nothing. So be sure to keep good records and use a secure payment method to be on the safe side.

If you had insurance purchased for your vacation, which would probably be your best bet at getting your money back. Make sure that health issue isn_t something they would cover. Good insurance companies will refund just about every penny of the trip in most cases. So hopefully you had the purchased.

And what is the best way to get from there to cleveland? I am only 20 and the enterprise rent-a-car_s in cleveland have age restrictions, so is there a transit that goes from and to both places and how much are taxi_s usually? Also, if you could give me any information of cheap hotels in cleveland (less than $70 a night), that would be very helpful.

But I think your best bet might be to visit your local AAA. They should have all kinds of guides about local hotels and some of the other information you_ll need.

Strongsville is about 11 miles away from downtown. Taxis are about 20 i think. Also, if you mean a hotel/motel in Strongsville, I know that there are a lot of little hotels in Strongsville (they are probably really cheap as well)

Strongsville is about 15 miles to downtown Cleveland. It all depends upon which part of Strongsville. You can get on I-71 at Rt. 82 or at Rt. 42 (Middleburg Hts.) I_m not sure about taxi rates anymore. I_m not sure what your hotel/motel question really is...downtown or Strongsville or in between. There are lots of motels and hotels with the motels generally less expensive than the hotels. And downtown will be more expensive than the suburbs. Sounds like a great trip to me. There is a place in Colorado called Estes Park that is beautiful. They have this big shop in the shape of an Ark and it is called Estes Ark. They have TONS of Boyd_s there.

Probably it is, because Vermont is a nice place. You can also stop at Ben and Jerrys on the way up there (Eastern side.) Or you can travel up the West on Rt 7 and visit Bennington and Manchester. Even if it is a tourist trap, you_re gonna have fun and a nice relaxing weekend. I would love to do that. It brings back wonderful memories of when my son went to summer camp in Vermont. Except, once we stayed at the _Chicken Pox Hotel_ and the kids all got chicken pox. I had to go back a week later and pick him up. Enjoy!

if your driving down rt 7 in VT then yes its worth a stop. its a very nice tour but its not some place I would make a long drive just to visit.

We are thinking of a road trip to D.C. It_s 30 hours from here (Colorado) and we will be able to stay there for 4 nights once we get there. Is this doable and worthwhile? How long can we drive in a day? We are thinking 700 miles.

How many will be in your party? That will determine how far you could go in a day. In theory, if you could average 70 miles per hour for 24 hours, you could cover nearly 1700 miles. But flying may well be cheaper. Go to Southwest Airlines_ website and see what they want for tickets from Denver to Baltimore (the closest they get to DC).

Where to go for amazing outdoor adventures in/around Illinois?|154696

I love the outdoors, especially wildlife and amazing natural scenery. Illinois seems incredibly dry of interesting outdoor attractions. Are there places I seem to just not be able to find? How about in the surrounding area? Are there any great canyons, mountains, areas rich with interesting wildlife? Great for photography? Please let me know so I can go there.

There are tons of wonderful places in IL! You are not going to find any mountains but, you will find beautiful hills, forest and more!

Why have you not driven the river road? It goes from the top of the state to the bottom. Hugging the beautiful cliffs of the Mississippi River. Nature is all over; during the winter you can go up north and see the Bald Eagles. They come down for the winter and nurse their young. You can see them feeding on the ice, if there is any in the river. They have stations set up in most of the small towns that let you view them for free. The conservation department is usually there giving lectures and things like that. Up in Grafton they have the Dragon that was painted by the Native Americans. It is on the side of a cliff facing the river. WONDERFUL!! They have a huge cave next to it that makes for some great shots. There are also tons of ferries in this area, pretty cool to see and ride on. I live in MO and drive both sides of the River Road at different times of the year. During fall you can see the leaves changing, golden fields, pumpkin patches and more. Of course do not be surprised if you see fox, deer, turkey, eagles and more! There are tons of state parks, and wildlife preserves up and down the road. Little towns with small museums about the river and wildlife, there is always a festival of some sort on the river road. There are tons of great picture opps here! You will also find old steamboats which are beautiful on the river! Of course you can cross into MO and go see Hannibal where Mark Twain lived. There is a great cave up there and tons of other things to do. Mark Twain Lake is also very beautiful! Here are some sites to help:

Apple River Canyon is also a very beautiful place. There are tons of limestone cliffs and gorges cut through the earth. Large forest line the area. They have some wonderful hiking trails!

Beall Woods State Park is just another Jewel of IL. WOW, wonderful wildlife, beautiful hikes who could ask for more! They have camping and fishing too. You also get to hike to the river which is just awesome!

Silver Springs is the place for both winter and summer. They have a ton of trails and the spring is amazing! Winter sports are huge here so is the wildlife!

Cahokia Mounds. GO HERE!!!!!! The mounds are just awesome! There is nothing else like this in the Midwest. They have a wonderful museum that is FREE, the mounds are also FREE!!! They do not have a lot of trails but, the mounds are just breathtaking! The largest gives you the best views of STL and the surrounding area. People come from all over to see the mounds; I cannot explain the beauty of them you really just need to go see them!

Trail of Tears Forest. The Trail of Tears is just amazing and they have several wonderful parks along it. This park in IL is wonderful! They have well maintained trails which highlight the forest and let you see nature up close and personal! There are tons of hills and valleys here and the views are just beautiful!

Rock Cut State Park is just HUGE!!! They have trails that go on for 20 miles. There is a beautiful lake here and the hiking cannot be beat! They also have camping. This place is wonderful and I highly recommend it!!! There are tons of flowers and animals here. This is one of the most beautiful parks IL has to offer!!! They also have tons of winter programs here and the park is open for some great winter picture opps!

Castle Rock is also another beautiful park. We used to go there a lot when I was a kid. The best time to go here is in the fall! The leaves are just gorgeous and wow they have some great views of the river! There are tons of places to take pictures and they always have some type of wildlife program. The winter time here is also very pretty. The way the snow covered trees hang above the river are just amazing! They have a few miles of trails but, the whole place is well worth your time!

Go to IL Caverns!!!! The caves are amazing!!! If you love the outdoors you will really love it here. My dad and I used to go every year. I am sure you can get some great pictures here. They also have programs that help you learn how to explore the caves. You have to get ��certified�� for certain areas. This place is just way cool!

Certain trees at Seoul_s Gyeongbok Palace were cut down to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Japanese surrender in WWII.Although Cherry blossoms are already indigenous to Korea, Japan had planted these tree on sacred and offensive locations in the Palace. Anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks starting in as early as late February through the end of April. The peak for the blossoms is around the last week in March where I live in WA State. The temperature determines when the blossoms appear. It takes about 2 weeks of mild, temperate warmer weather with NO frost for the trees to start blooming. What gets me is the blossoms all appear well before the actual leaves, though there are leaf buds ready and waiting when the blossoms appear.

The cherry blossoms only last for a few weeks so they are long gone.

However, DC is currently coming into crape myrtle season which I think is at least as pretty as the cherry blossoms.

They_ll generally last about a month from the time they bloom, but the weather can cause them to drop faster.

They bloom for about 3 - 4 weeks and then they fall off.
