What is fun to do in denver, co at night for ages 18 and under?|107140

My boyfriend and i are stuck at home for spring break and we need something exciting to do for cheap!

  • Be creative, you can find a way to acquire a keg (convince an older friend or sibling to buy it) and have all your friends over and throw a rager. Kegs are only about $50 (which is cheap) and you can charge $3 per cup and make a profit if you get enough people to come.

Yeah, go ahead and give me a _thumbs down._ I_m fun and honest, which is why I have 57% best answers, while the museum/shopping crowd has under 10%.

  • You can go to Colorado Mills Mall, downtown Denver, Wheat Ridge Recreation Center, Butterfly Pavillion, or Belmar or to Boulder.

  • indoor skydiving :))
    omg it_s sooooo fun!
    [[not scary]]

    eh, kinda expensive though.
    but definitely worth it

  • I_m not from Denver but there_s loads of things to do.... its a bigger, more lively place than where I live now and I always manage to have a great time

  • Besides going to a movie (which I think is fun anyway!) you could go to a play at the Denver performing arts center (sorry, I can_t remember what it_s called, but it_s really nice), or a concert (they have just about all the stars) but my top recommendation would be Elitch Gardens. Once in the regular season, they_re open _till 9pm. They really up-ed their game when they broke off from the Six Flags franchise. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is fun, but the only things to do in the evening is IMAX movies (they don_t have the Hollywood movies, only the educational ones) and sometimes they have a special exhibition that has evening tickets available. Denver isn_t the best place for night-time activities, but you can still have fun!

  • goto 6 flags, imax, dave and busters, 16th street mall, im not familuar that much anymore i have moved to phx,az

    QUAKE22 GOOD answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • What are the best months to vist the National parks out in the western USA? And why?|199508

We would like to see Yellowstone, Yosemite, the Painted Dessert, Grand Canyon, Zion, and Bryce, Grand Teton.
How much time will we need?

  • Spring (April, May or early June) or Fall (September, October). Summer is entirely too hot and Winter is rainy and cold.

And you_re going to need a lot of time. 4-6 weeks for a thorough visit to each one.

  • umm around early spring because its not too hot and well the wildlife is more active after the harsh winter

What hotels in San Diego accept Debit or cash?|135994

I have had my identity stolen before and now I refuse to use credit cards. No one will burn me again! I am planning to take a trip down to San Diego and am wondering if any of you knew of debit or cash friendly hotels. Also if there is a deposit what is the amounts you paid? Thanks.

  • Most hotels will have a cancellation policy of either 4pm or 6pm day of arrival (local time). Some will be the day before, but they can hold your room up until that time and as long as cancel within the desired period you will not be up for a charge and they will not require a deposit. Your debit card should be more than OK for holding the room and you should not need to give them a deposit.

Beware...when a debit card is used the hotel/car hire companies more often than not hold a reserve against your account of about $500 (in addition to the room charge rate). The money should show back in your account within 24-48 hours after departure but could take longer. The same can apply to cc_s too, but usually just with debit cards as the vendor has more to lose.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience but cc_s are a far better bet than debit cards. The level that they offer of protection is far greater and your responsibility is typically only $50 with a cc. Maybe you should re-look at that idea, getting one card with good protection?
Good luck with your trip and the bookings.

  • Hotels require a credit card
  • What is the best way to find short-term / temporary employment amp; housing in the Santa Fe or Taos, NM area?|119843

I_ve thought about moving to the Santa Fe or Taos, NM area for years and I_m planning to spend two or three months there exploring the area because it_s been many years since my last visit. I_ve checked craigslist New Mexico and that_s promising for both job _ housing leads, but I_m wondering if anybody has other suggestions?

  • I would check with Santa Fe Services or Excel Staffing, they are usually good about temp employment, and you may be able to find apartments that do 3 month leases... Here are some other temp agencies

  • Hello:

Give Sante Fe Apartment Guide a try at (505) 821-5212. Good luck!

  • How much are tickets to a spa for a few days?|118776

Ok I really want to get away and do something nice. My husband is home this weekend so he can watch my daughter. I want to know how much spa tickets are to go for about 2 or 3 days. Are they realy expensive?

  • depends on where u go and what u have done

  • Some spas have packages. I think what you are looking for might be just that, packages could include message, facial, nails, hair and lunch or a combination of other services.

A package could be from $175-$350 and run about 4 hours.
