I will be 20 years when I am go to the united states next summer and need to know if I will be able to rent a hotel room for the week. Please someone help me out on this questions cause I have no clue what the rules and regulations are on renting a hotel room.

You will be able to find some hotels that will allow 18 year olds to rent a room. However, and I do mean however, not all will - some require you to be at least 21. You may want to check ahead of time with any that you reserve to make sure you_re not left _out in the cold_ literally!

Some place with a lot of culture, like Woodstock. Or a town with a lot of business buildings. Anywhere within a 1 and a half to 2 hour radius of Albany. I want to go for a mini-roadtrip and don_t really know what_s cool that_s around.

The upstate area from Syracuse to Albany...................Lots of great areas....especially in the mountain..... like lake George or lake Placid.
From there you are close to Mass too..........

Kamaole Beach 1 in Kehei is a good place. The beaches in southwest Maui tend to be flatter and wider than those in the Kaanapali area. That particular beach has a lifeguard, hence my suggestion.
