What is the best suite in vegas for 8 guys on a bachelor party, I prefer not to stay at the Palms?|107786

I have looked at the Palms and they have the Fantasy suite which is like 10,000 a night to much.

  • IMO these are the most reasonable priced suites.

    The Platinum Hotel

    http://www.theplatinumhotel.com

This hotel is located on Flamingo, a couple of blocks from the center of the strip.

    Stratosphere

    http://www.stratospherehotel.com

The executive suite might work for a bachelor party.

    Luxor

    http://www.luxor.com

The Pyramid Spa Suites are nice, but are probably more appropriate for a honeymoon than for a bachelor party.

If you would give me the price range you_re looking at, and the dates you need I could give you a better recommendation

The amenities you_re most interested in would be helpful.

    ~Jack~

  • Google this site ....Great Resource for Vegas Bachelor Partys

    HOTVEGASLEGS

    Best Regards,
    Susan

  • Those fantasy sweets include a bowling alley or basketball court, and set up for celebrities not the ordinary person.

There is no suite that is set up for that many guys. At most you can get adjoining rooms with two queens size beds for a decent price. If you want a suite I would recommend you go across the street from Palms to the Gold Coast (local preference) or Rio

  • palms for guys is great ...there are lots of others too

  • The Skylofts at MGM Grand would be great, but are also expensive. Check them out at:

    http://www.skyloftsmgmgrand.com/

I don_t think you get any better than the Skylofts and the Fantasy Suites for party groups.

  • Mondalay Bay has good suites....

What is the best water park in Arizona?|109472

My sister is visiting Arizona and she wants to go to a water park. Which one is the best? Please tell me your choice and why.

  • Big Surf in Tempe. It has the best slides and a nice big wave pool!
  • What are the times of the Disneys Hollywood Studios shows?|122954

Im planning to go to Animal Kingdom and then Hollywood Studios in 1 day. We are going to Animal Kingdom first (8am to about 4pm) and then Hollywood Studios (4pm to 11:30pm)! I know Disney has plenty of shows but what time do they usually stop showing them? We are planing to see all the shows!

  • I work at Hollywood Studios. If you could, could you say what day you are going? The park and shows times open and close at different times through the day. If you want to know specifically, just ask ANY cast member at a stand for a _Times Guide_, and they will give it to you. It list every show in the park and what time they close. Next week, the park is open until 8:30 PM. You should go when there EMH(Extra Magic Hours), when the park is open later. But overall, on average, the shows will close around 5:30. Some earlier, some later. Most a little later. PLEASE drop me an email to tell me the date you plan on going. I can provide you with better information there :-)

  • One of my favorites there is Block Party Bash. It is a parade and a show. It is the only Disney parade to feature Pixar characters. The parade stops moving and there is music, dancing, and acrobatics. The problem is this is only shown once per day at 3pm. Fantasmic is another great show. That one is only at night, but is not shown every night. You can get dinner/Fantasmic packages which give preferred seating. I really like the Beauty and the Beast show. It usually has some times that you would be able to make with no problem. The Disney website currently has hours available through August. It will show park opening, closing, Block Party Bash, and Fantasmic times. Click on the day you are planning for more details:

  • You will have to pick up a Times Guide when you get there. It changes everyday, so there_s no way to tell you exactly. But if you get there at 4, you should be able to see anything you want to see.

  • They sometimes change in the front of the park with the maps you can get a card with all the show times.
  • What is the best hotel to stay at for the red river shootout?|193908

I am single and young and would like to be close to nightlife and the stadium

  • That would depend on whether you are a Texas fan or an Oklahoma fan.
You should check with the group as to where many are staying since on Friday night there is nightlife everywhere.
Since the game is going to be in Arlington next year it is a new ball game.

  • there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it_s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

How do i get to penn station in manhatten to go to hempstead longisland?|190646

i want to take the train from the bronx to penn station in longisland and get to hempstead in nassau county. is a train the fastest? i live on boston road in the bronx. and the 2 and 5 trains are near me. i wanna get to harold ave. is a bus faster?

  • There aren_t any good bus options.
Take the 2 train to Penn Station and the LIRR to hempstead.
There_s a long island bus map at mta.info if you need public transportation from there. You can also use all island taxi service.

  • I recommend you to take a Long Island Railroad instead of train. However, for Long Island Railroad you need to pay little more, for train you pay less but more slower.

What is an inexpensive motel in Las Vegas that is within walking distance of the strip?|103052

I_m not a high-roller or even a big gambler. Las Vegas is more of a starting point for a trip to the Grand Canyon. The trip will begin and end in Vegas. I_d like to keep it under $100 a night. There will be 2 people, both non-smokers who prefer their own bed. No SPAM, please. Thank you in advance.

  • Well my husband and I stay at the Strastophere which is located at the North end of the strip. During the week days rooms are around $35 then of course they go up on the weekends to around $90 or so. Well that is what we paid last time anyways. Check out this website also to help you http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/stay.cfm. This website is wonderful lets you know the deals on hotels, food etc, Also has maps of the hotels etc. Explore this page you will find it very helpful. Good Luck and have fun.

  • America_s Best Value Inn is within walking distance, on Tropicana, right next to the new Hooter_s Hotel. You can get deals on Best Value Inn from hotels.com If you book it early enough, several weeks in advance, you can get it for $50 night. The Stratosphere and Sahara rise stratospherically in cost for the weekend, Best Value Inn stays lower.

Best Value Inn is not nasty or dirty, or it wouldn_t be listed on hotels.com as they have certain standards to meet. The point is that you can get better rates there than at Motel 6 because of the internet rates at sites such as expedia, hotels.com, yahoo. Motel 6 does not partner with those companies, there is only one flat rate.

And it is within walking distance. Best Value Inn usually books up somewhat quickly because it IS a great value. The staff was nice and friendly, the lobby clean and modern. The rooms are modernized, for what you get I was impressed, it has a french country decor. Nothing fancy, but they did make an effort. Have you even stayed there, guest below who stays at Motel6?

  • Try Harrahs..inexpensive and in the centre of the strip.

  • That Best Value in is NASTY!!!!!!! DIRTY!!!!! The motel 6 is way nicer _ it is next door. Try the stations casions. I live here. Go to Vegas.com they have all the hotels _ then you can check prices of them all on that site.

  • Motel 6 on Tropicana.

  • any Coast casino property will do, try the Imperial Palace on the strip for good value...also Excalibur ........any hotel downtown on Freemont St is usually a good value

  • If its during the week you may be able to find something on the strip. Try the Tropicana.
  • What is the best dinner and show to go and see at disney world?|113752

My Children and i are going in May of 2008, my kids are going to be 3 _ 6, I will also have my nephew he will be 2. What is a good one to take them too?

  • Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show is the best in Orlando.. it isn_t at Disney but it_s close.

    http://www.orlandofloridasucks.com

  • The luau at the Polynesian.

  • You_ve heard of Epcot center there for the young and old. There is something in there for everyone ,beautiful
restaurants, and shows. At these ages it_s hard to suggest
as they get frightened by so much fast moving objects.

  • For the dinner shows make sure to make reservations in advance, they can be hard to get in to!

My personal favorite would be the Hoop-De-Doo Revue, which is at the Fort Wilderness Campground. Theres lots of singing and the people come out to your table and ask questions and various things so its very interactive. The best seats are downstairs so you can have a better chance of them coming to your table, but upstairs is a good view as well. One time when I went we were sat at a table in the far back by the doors which was where the Disney Executives sometimes eat when they come and several of the people in the show came over to our table, it was really nice. They serve Fried Chicken, Ribs, and other American food and delicious Strawberry Shortcake for dessert!

Another popular dinner show (that I havn_t been to, sadly) is the Spirit of Aloha Dinner show, which is a polynesian Luau with with music and dancing. They serve an all-you-can-eat feast inspired by polynesian culture. The show features hula dancers, fire twirlers, and more! Its located at the Disney_s Polynesian Resort, which is a really nice place to visit.

  • I_ve never been but the Hoop Dee Do Review is one of the best dinner shows at Disney. I hear it_s hard to get reservations so you have to make sure you get them well in advance.

  • Mickey_s Backyard Barbecue, they can dance with the characters and have a general blast, my son loves it to this day and he is 15.

  • Definitely the Hoop De Doo and request to be seated downstairs - much easier to see and be a part of the action. Enjoy!

  • Straw-Berry Shortcake!!!

    Hoop De DOO

  • do not do the hoop-dee-doo musical revue i think this is more geared to older kids or teens and adults we went last year and our kids were 7 and 11 and nephew was 6 or kids liked it except the 11 year old but i think they would of enjoyed it more if their was disney characters their this is what i thought when i made reservations this year were going to mickey_s backyard barbecue so we can be with the characters well i hope you have a good time

  • My goodness, well of course you_ll have to go to chef mickey_s character dinner! They have very good prime rib, _ your children will LOVE the character dinner!! I highly suggest you DONT take them to the woopty doo review or whatever. I went there _ it was just a disaster! The food was HORRIBLE. As if they just re-heated some microwave dinners _ food on the bone, _ just very dissapointing overall. The show was HORRIBLE!! My family _ I hated the atmosphere as well, it_s very olden day like. So I wouldnt suggest you go there unless you like to wait a long time, with a reservation, _ get horribe food _ a bad show.

My opinion- Chef mickey_s or any character dinner is perfect. They have that time where the kids get up _ walk around the restaurant to the beat of mickey toons. Ultimate place to eat on vacation! Have a great vacation! Hope this helped :)

  • The Hoop Dee Doo Review is by far the best because you_re in an enclosed space with lots of air conditioning and the staff enjoys working with young children. There_s lots of singing and dancing, and the food -- fried chicken, for example -- is the sort of thing that kids will actually eat.
