Whats the maximum number of pets a person can own in Portland, OR or Multnomah county?|146536

Is there a limit to how many dogs, cats or both a person/household can own within Multnomah county, or more specifally Portland? I currently have one cat, but am interested in adopting at least two dogs and maybe another cat in the next few years.

I don_t think there is a limit legally but that depends on a few things.

If you rent then the owners have the say so.
If your animals are _not under your control_ at all times then certain citys may have ordinaces to remove them. IE if you have cats running all over the neighborhood and someone complains then you can loose them. Dogs have to be quiet excetra.

Average time it takes for a package to get mailed across several states?|146138

My dad sent me a package from Ohio to Maine, he sent it a week ago and it still hasn_t come. Do you think it got lost? He might not have sent it by priority mail, it could have been the cheaper way. Do you think it_s still on it_s way?

Usually takes a week or so. Depends how big the package is. I doubt it_s lost but it just might not have been fast shipping or it could_ve been land shipping which could take even longer, and not air shipping. I would give it another 2-3 Business days and if it doesn_t come then their might be a problem. I got a package from Tokyo in about a week, and from Ohio to Maine, that_s not that far!

East Atlanta, off of Moreland Avenue on I-20, great place with shops, salons, waxing, threading, restaurants, you can park in one place and walk everywhere!

Little Five Points- closer to the Emory area but another great place.

How is living in San Francisco for a highschool student?|158360

My family is considering a few cities to move to, and San fran is one of them. How would life in san francisco for a 15 year old be? Like things to do, people, overall living, etc?

It_s great - there is lots to do, great weather, you can get around easily without a car. It_s also a pretty safe city, it_s safer than Tulsa, OK according to statistics.

Its soso much fun! Theres a lot to do but there are sketchy areas, like any big city. I go to highschool there - (urban school of san francisco) and its amazing.

i loved it going to a public school. but if you_re not used to being around different minority groups, then a private school might be more for you

What is there to do besides typical tourist attractions in San Diego, especially for 24 yr olds?|168872

We will be in San Diego for my boyfriend (of 6 yrs) and it_s our first real vacation together. We live in Las Vegas and always do the clubs etc. We will be going to Sea World for 2 days and the San Diego Zoo once. We_ll have a free day for muesums, nice dinner, ect. Any suggestions? Expecially from locals? We like to do fine dining (especially french food) or dinner with _an experience_ any place unique to San Diego or neighboring cities. Thank you!!

I_ve lived here all of my life and I still love going to Catalina. You can go over, rent a cart for an hour and see the whole place,,get something to eat at a great seafood cafe, go back across the channel at sunset. It will be something you will never forget!!

For Dining, I would recommend Bertrand Mister A_s, Marine Room, or Georges Outdoor Terrace Bistro. Both Bertrand and the Marine Room are upscale restaurants. Mister A_s is on the 12th floor in an office building downtown. It_s a fabulous restaurant with a fabulous view of the San Diego skyline and coast. Marine Room is in La Jolla.....if you go, make reservations for a table near the window. If you time it for high tide, you will be just inches from the waves! George_s outdoor terrace is casual. You should make reservations to be dining as the sun sets for a fabulous show. This restaurant is also in La Jolla.

I love roasting marshmallows on the beach. Many beaches have firepits where you can have your own bonfire. (first come, first serve). There_s also wine tasting, kayaking through the caves at La Jolla (awesome!), hiking, and crusing the bay. For night life, head to San Diego_s Gaslamp Quarter.

Try going to Balboa Park. It_s beautiful there, and lots of cool museums. You can always pack up a picnic and go there to enjoy the weather.
Of course go to the beach (I_m sure you know this). If you want to go to a fun beach go to Mission. They have a cool boardwalk with a rollercoater and shops. If you want something a little more relaxing go up to La Jolla or sunset cliffs.

I can_t think of anywhere specific for you to eat (especially because I dont really do fine dining). I know there are some really nice places at the Gaslamp, or up in La Jolla/Cornado.

Balboa Park has some really cool museums- I love playing at the Ruben H Fleet Center- its an interactive science museum with tons of fun games to play and things to do. The art museum is cool too- $10 will get you in. Otherwise just explore the park itself, there are many secret gardens and koi ponds. The International Houses are fun to visit too.

its a fun restaurant where everything_s all backwards and the waiters are really funny. Or, since I know there_s one in Vegas and maybe you_ve already tried it.....

go to Corvette Diner downtown (kinda... in Hillcrest). They have tons of 50_s memorabilia, you sit in booths that look like cars, you get as much Bazooka bubble gum as you can chew and a million straws to drink your milkshake with. Its a cool place.

I_ve lived in San Diego for 27 years and I can guarantee that you will have a fantastic time in La Jolla. At the Children_s Pool, you will see a ton of seals and their babies (its pup season)! We like to go in the morning (9 or 10AM) before the crowd gets there.

About a 10-15 minute drive away, the Torrey Pines State Reserve has beautiful and easy hikes to the beach with views that will take your breath away... very, very romantic. This is something I love to do every week. Its THAT pretty... We go out and take a few minutes to really be thankful that we get to live in this paradise.

After that, freshen up and go to Pamplemousse Grille in Del Mar.. it_ll definitely be a day to remember!

La Jolla , La Jolla, La Jolla. Its a short drive north of SD.The Childrens Beach is wonderful. Nice ........If your feeling a bit metaphysical , go to the Whaley House in old town SD. Its supposed to be one of the most haunted houses in the US. My daughter and I both had an encounter in the house. If you go to the Whaley house there is a small mexican restaurant called the Alamo (go figure) nearby. Get a bowl of guacamole and chips (the best Ive ever had) and people watch. Enjoy!!!!!!

Just got back from our third trip to San Diego, we love it there. If you enjoy hiking, there are tons of trails in the area. Very neat, you_re less than 30 minutes from downtown but in total wilderness. Check out Mission Trails Regional Park and Torrey Pines State Reserve.

Balboa Park (where the zoo is) is part of a big downtown park, too. There_s a lot of museums there, most charge an admission fee, but you can get the Go San Diego card which includes admission to these (and many other attractions). See the link below.

If you enjoy baseball, or just a night out on a warm evening, the new downtown ballpark is beautiful, and only 4 years old. It_s in the Gaslamp district, where a lot of restaurants and bars are. Find a happy hour and then walk over to the game!

Take an afternoon and head over to Coronado. The hotel there is something to see, and you can walk around the village or beach there too.

One suggestion, we enjoy Sea World but I don_t think two days are necessary. You should be able to cover everything you want to see in a day.

my family and i are planning a trip to south Padre Island, we want to spend about 3 nights there and the cost of the hotel is about 50 to 60 per night. we_re driving from Austin tx. So, how much would it usually cost with 3 night stay for hotels, food, gas and activities for those of you that been there. How much would you estimated it to be? please help, i just want know how much would it be!
