Who knows of a good place to roller blade in Northwest Las Vegas?|139609

I haven_t used them since i moved here and would like to start up again.

  • There_s a great place at Tenaya and Alexander. There is a water basin next to a park. The area around the basin is a great area to roller blade, walk, run or bike. And there_s a dog park if you have a dog.
  • What is the best month to enjoy tropical fruits in Honolulu, HI?|109884

I want to visit HI this year and was wondering when would be the best (earliest) time to go when tropical fruits (ex. dragon fruits, rambutan, mangosteen, abiu, etc.) are available in Chinatown. I_m thinking mid Feb, since it will be Chinese New Year?

  • I suspect you_ll find out what you need on the poster linked below. It may take a few minutes to download.
  • Do you have to dress up to go to the john Hancock restaurant?|195678

Me and My G/F want to go to it tomorrow, but don_t know if its a fancy place where everyone is in formal wear, or if jeans and a tee shirt will do. We_re 22 years old. I just want to know for sure so we don_t look out of place.

  • You don_t have to dress up super fancy, but you should dress nicely. What I mean by nicely is no jeans, t-shirts, baggy shorts, or tennis shoes. When my husband and I went, he wore khakis and a polo shirt, and I wore a skirt and a knit sleeveless shirt and we fit in perfectly. Just remember when in doubt, it_s always better to overdress than to underdress.

    Have fun!

  • I_m not sure if there_s more than one restaurant in the John Hancock building but the one I went to was pretty fancy. I suggest dressing up. Everyone I saw in there was dressed up and my family was dressed up also. I wouldn_t wear jeans and t-shirt. I_m not sure if they require you to dress up but you may feel a little out of place if you don_t. You don_t need to go all out and pull out your tuxedo and ballroom dress but I would say you probably shouldn_t wear jeans or gym shoes. A pair of slack and dress shoes should be fine.

  • its not too fancy but its a nice place for a date- thats so cutte

but uhm yeah you should dress nice jeans and tee wont do just dress nice like you would a first date

  • Dress up! Nice pants and shirt and nice shoes...no jeans or gym shoes. And for her a nice dress or pants outfit.

  • It_s not fancy. They are used to tourists. (not sure about jeans; some restaurants don_t allow them. Call and ask.)

  • Yes, no jeans or tee shirts

  • business casual would be fine and its called 95 I believe since its on the 95th floor
  • Does anyone know any haunted hollywood tours that are good in Hollywood and have possibly experienced?|105017

I have been to Hollywood plenty of times but I decided for my Spring Break I want to see a new side, my boyfriend and I want to try one of those haunted tours has anyone been on one or has one to recommend?

  • Here is one company. The Starline Bus company also offers haunted tours. Go to the Hollywood/Highland mall customer service area. They can hook you up with special tours and all consierge services for Southern California

What area very close to times square in new york can I stay at to get cheaper hotel rates?|118013

I would like to the area to still be nice, very lively, and just as active as New York City TImes Square. The rates are SOOOOO expensive in Times Square.

  • You could try the Penn Hotel on 34th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. They_re still expensive but cheap compared to the places around Times Square. Also Chelsea hotels are less expensive than Times Square. If 100 dollars a night sounds like too much, try Astoria, Queens, it_s right on the other side of the East River and a short commute into Manhattan.

  • Go to the Bronx..
  • Need to find a map of Kentucky with only the major cities on it?|102927

We_re trying to find a map online that shows a map of Kentucky with ONLY the major cities on it (not including roads). So far, we_re not having any luck. Can you help us? It_s for my daughter_s state report and she needs to label the locations of the major cities.

    Thanks!

  • This Kentucky base map highlights the location of the state capitol and other major cities throughout the state. Portions of Kentucky_s border states are included to show the relationship between Kentucky and its neighbors. A small inset shows Kentucky among the other 47 Continental United States.

  • WHY? there are only 2 1/2 major cities in Kentucky... Covington, Louisville, and the 1/2, Lexington. Lex only counts for a 1/2 cause it is not just a city, but the county and city merged to make it look bigger.

  • psh i can tell you that.
    louisville, frankfort, lexington, elizabethtown
    thats pretty much it.

What are good places to live in or near downtown baltimore?|127625

I am looking to move into a roommate situation. I was wondering which areas have a lot of stores and other employment opportunities within walking distance as i don_t drive. Thanks

  • You should probably start looking in the _midtown_ area (Mount Vernon, Bolton Hill, Station North, Charles Village)

The Fells Point area and Hampden are also options

If you don_t drive, you probably don_t want to be out in Owings Mills, as it_s really suburban

  • I grew up in Owings Mills until I was 8 Years Old. We thankfully got out and moved to the Hunt Valley/ Cockeysville Area after that.

Owings Mills was fine, but the people there were not friendly. My neighborhood hated my family because my parents chose to send my sister and I to Private Schools further away.

We then moved to Hunt Valley near my school (St. Paul_s School if you ever have kids, it_s a really good school.)

Everybody was nice their and seemed to be very friendly and welcoming. It is close to Wegman_s the new, massive, inexpensive, amazing super market. Wegman_s is right next to the new Hunt Valley Shopping Center which is amazing at just about every level. It has fine dining, shopping, as well as some good, quick restaurants (Noodles and Co., Chipotle, Etc).

But, just like every other city, public transportation is lacking. You could take the Metro Everyday, but you need something to get to the station.

This is why the city would be a good idea. You can walk to a lot of places if you know how to stay out of the bad ones. Area_s I would recommend would be Mount Vernon or Canton (Michael Phelps just bought a place their), or somewhere along Falls Road near Princeton Sports/ Mt. Washington.

    Good Luck

  • towson, lutherville , timonium, cockeysville , all are great places to live, dulaney high school is the best public school in baltimore county, and there are plenty of job opertunitys

  • Move to Downtown Townson! It is not as Violent as Baltimore City, but Baltimore County is great. Towson has GREAT schools, GREAT jobs, LOTS of places to shop, It_s like perfect downtown!
