How much would it cost to rent a cadillac in usa for a month?|131961

I am from The UK and i want to do route 66 in a cadillac but how much would it cost for a months rental.

  • It_s hard to answer your question without knowing when you want to travel, where you would want to start, what type of Cadillac you are looking for, etc. Also keep in mind you need to be at least 25 to rent a car in America.

However for 1 month from 1st Sep - 1st Oct 2009, beginning at LAX (Los Angeles international airport) and a Cadillac DTS it would cost you approximately 964.03 at National Rental Car.

The 964.03 rate includes air conditioning, automatic transmission, unlimited mileage, Collision _ Damage Waiver, Theft Protection, Third-Party Liability Insurance, City/Airport Surcharges, Road Tax, VAT/Tax, Additional Liability Insurance for the U.S. and Canada.

  • $1500 plus insurance.
  • How is the economy in phoenix right now?|133321

My family and I are moving there in March. He would be great in the restaurant or hotel industries. Are there jobs available?

  • I work in IT and used to get calls about jobs in Phoenix all the time, and they_ve slowed dramatically in the past six months.
Phoenix_s travel economy is heavily reliant on resorts and Spring Training baseball traffic. Both have slowed and the corporations that own the hotels are cutting jobs.
If you can get a job out there, then you_ll likely be able to find a bargain on a house. The mortgage crisis hit Metro Phoenix hard.
    Good luck!

  • Right now there are a few jobs available you just have to go out and look for it, the economy to me personally is ok, depends what industry your job is, like my job we work in the housing industry and its kinda slow but thank God we still have jobs, I think you guys will do alright here no worries ;-)

  • Well it_s a good time to buy a house down here, but jobs are getting harder to find. If he is good then he should be able to find something, I suggest in Scottsdale since they pay more and are big on hotels, restaurants and golf courses.

  • The economy is slow, but Hotels and Restaurants are always hiring.

  • SLOW right now, go to azcentral.com and look at the job section or jobing.com Depends on your field Health care is big here and always hiring. Lots or retired people.

  • We got jobs in Dallas come over here

Flying in the states but to the lovely hawaii?|128699

I want to fly to hawaii and I have a green card and a valid united states drivers license. Will those two things be enough to get through? Also, would I need the actual card or can I just have copies of all of my legal papers?

  • Like they said above, all you need is your driver_s license. Hawaii is part of the US not another country. If you feel like you need to take your papers, it would be best to take the actual card, BUT KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE!! When you_re at the airport, they look at your ticket and your DL/Passport and make sure its really you and then after all the security you get on the plane, fly to Hawaii and have fun. :)

  • All you need is a driver_s license, but once you get here make sure to register with the Honolulu Police Department and your country_s embassy. HPD will require a blood sample, so be prepared.

Also, don_t forget to exchange your money for Hawaiian money. You can do this at any money exchange counter at the Honolulu Airport.

Hawaii state law also requires you to wear an aloha shirt every Friday, so be sure to buy several pairs before you come.

  • Don_t pay attention to Ari. Everything he says after _All you need is your driver_s license_ is a lie. Going to Hawaii from the mainland US is like going from California to Arizona. You do have to go through an agricultural inspection on the way back (they x-ray your bags looking for plants or fruits/vegetables that you can_t import to the mainland). But, Hawaii is just another state in the union, and anyone currently in the United States legally can come and go there freely.

  • Hawaii is a US state, just like New York and Florida. All you need to fly from the mainland to Hawaii is your US driving license.

If you fly from another country to Hawaii you need your _green card_ and your passport.

  • Hawaii is part of the US! All you need is a valid state ID. and you_re ready to go..
  • Does anyone know of a nice, clean and safe hotel in Houston with an indoor pool?|153071

I_m planning a birthday party for my soon to be 12 year old daughter and she would like to have a sleep over at a hotel that has an indoor pool. Does anyone know of such a hotel or another option?

  • Try an Embassy Suite and you_ll have two rooms for you and the girls. And free breakfast to boot. Also, you might want to ask for adjoining rooms so you_ll have room for everyone. The rooms have microwaves, a mini fridge, two TV_s, a table or desk in the living room. But you can_t let the girls get out of hand because Embassy Suites will knock on the door and keep the noise under control after a certain hour. (IF your neighbors complain) They have so many business travelers and aren_t going to make those people mad because of a bunch of kids making too much noise.

Marriott_s Residence Inns are fun as well. But they probably don_t have indoor pools. You can rent a two bedroom, two bath with a living area/kitchen in the middle. Again, they cater to business travelers and families and are strict about the noise level after hours.

The Doubletree at Intercontinental Airport has an indoor pool.

    So does:
    Drury Suites in West Houston
Holiday Inn Select Houston Park West
Houston Marriott West Loop by The Galleria

there are others if these aren_t what you are looking for

  • which part of Houston are you looking at to have it at. T
There is a Ramada Inn on 1-10 and Mason road that has an indoor pool. Been there at a bday party for a friend several years ago.

  • Houstonian, Hilton Americas, Hotel Zaza is enclosed but open to the sky,

  • hilton americas its right next to the george r brown center
  • What is the name of that beach town in CA that they went in and restored all these little beach houses?|151712

  • Is there an electricity company that services Spring, TX that does not require a deposit?|163664

We have good credit. Just never had electricity in our name. We moved sooner than we thought and would love to save all we can.

  • Go to www.powertochoose.org. They_ll list all the companies, their rates, and whether or not they require a deposit. I have power with Spark Power Bank. They were the lowest rate (if you do automatic payment every month), and I didn_t have to pay a deposit with them.

  • If you_ve never had electricity service in your name your going to have a hard time getting it without a deposit.
The only thing you can do is call around and
    _sweet talk them_ :)

at least now days you have the choice..

  • No all companies you have to pay a deposit if it is your first time with them. Good news usually after you have had service over a year they send you a refund check for you deposit back.

  • I didn_t have to pay a deposit my first time with Reliant. The company I work for is a construction company so we have many jobsites that need electricity and they use StarTex Power.

  • I don_t know, but I used FirstChoice when I lived in Clearlake and they were very inexpensive.
