How early do you need to get to the Macys parade to get seats in Columbus Circle?|100916

I live two blocks from Columbus Circle and would like to know so that we can get good seats before it gets too crazy.

Well the Parade should start @ 9 A.M from 72nd Street this is going to end at Herald Sq. i would leave aprox. 9:30-10:00 so if yuo are early should might happen because they have to control to Ballons with the high wind
