What is there to do on New Years eve 2010 in the bay area that is not club involved and is cheap?|194627

I live in Milpitas and my girlfriend and I want to do something fun. We do not want to go to a club, and we do not want to spend that much. Maybe something that is less than $30 per person. We would also prefer something in the San Jose area. I wanted to watch fireworks but do not know of any places near us other than San Francisco, and we do not want to go that far.
