What areas should I avoid in Chicago as a tourist?|190487

I am going to Milwaukee,WI to visit my aunt and while I_m there I am planning to go to Chicago and explore. What areas, neighborhoods, etc. should I avoid as a tourist?

As a tourist, I assume you will be in downtown Loop area of Chicago. Around Navy Pier, Michigan Ave, Watertower, The Museums. In which case you will be fine. Don_t walk around late at night, don_t go off the beaten path. Keep you eyes are ears open and use common sense.
