Where is the lawn chair section in times square located for new years?|149751

My wife and I are planning on going to times square on new years eve to see the ball drop and were wondering where the lawn chair section is located and if it_s within viewing distance of the ball drop. Does anyone have a link I can go to where I can see a layout of times square and its _sections_?

The lawn chairs are located along Broadway, from 43rd Street to 49th Street. However, if you_re going to Times Square for the Ball Drop, you can forget finding them. That_s because they will be removed for the event on Dec. 31st.
