The entrance to Sutter/Stockton is tricky. You need to go north on Grant Street, then west on Sutter, then right on Stockton.

What is the best cost parking location in San Francisco near Union Square?|175148
I need to go to union square in San Francisco this weekend and the mall parking seems very expensive at almost $35.00! Even if it is within .5 miles. My suggestion is leave the car at home.public parking will run you 15 to $20 a day. It_s cheaper to find the parking spot outside the city and take BART to the mall. The cheapest garages are the city-owned ones. That would be the Sutter/Stockton garage or the 5th _ Mission garage.

If it were me, if you are coming from the South Bay or the East Bay, I would just take hte BART into downtown. Parking can get really expensive.
